Anna Banks

Anna is a Drama and English graduate of the University of Birmingham. They recently completed their extended research project into the importance of queer storytelling in education, and is passionate about the power of creative writing to bring communities together. As a proud Birmingham resident, they are excited to be a part of an organisation so focused on building connections and sharing knowledge within Birmingham’s communities.

Alongside their studies, Anna supports their love of community storytelling by giving presentations to secondary school students in the West Midlands about LGBTQ+ equality, and acting in and directing plays about the arts, queerness, and student theatre.
