Emily Baldwin
Emily is an English and History graduate from the University of Birmingham. She recently completed her dissertation, which explored contemporary lesbian comics, and is now working as a production and social media assistant at Bertz Associates.
Before joining Bertz, Emily worked for the Basildon Volunteer Network and the Lapworth Museum of Geology. She is passionate about communities, arts, and heritage and brings these values to her work.
Emily joined Bertz in 2021 as an intern. She worked on the Everything to Everybody project in Ark Academy school and was the lead researcher for Women Between the Lines. She is now involved in all aspects of the organisation; she supports our interns, produces projects, and manages our social media accounts and website.
Outside of work, Emily is a big fan of graphic novels and an avid rollerskater. She co-created the University of Birmingham Rollerskate Society and you can usually find her in a museum!
