Hydrogen Academy
The Hydrogen Academy is a new European-wide project which aims to increase education and develop awareness of new sustainable hydrogen technology to help Europe transition to climate friendly energy. There are 17 partners in the project from across Europe, working collaboratively to further education on hydrogen technology and help bring young people into the sector.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, Bertz Associates is proud to be involved with the Hydrogen Academy. We hope to creatively influence technological industries and build bridges between arts and science networks.
Why Hydrogen?
Green hydrogen is an important element in the transition to a climate-friendly energy economy. It’s efficient use releases no harmful pollutants and only forms water, which can simply be returned to the atmosphere.
The Green Hydrogen Industry
The development of green hydrogen energy in Europe will require an estimated 180,000 skilled staff by 2030. As such, there is a need for training and education programmes that will provide the skills required. Hydrogen knowledge is needed at universities, and schools will have to prepare pupils for the clean energy world.
Get Invovled
We are helping to create a network of 500 schools across Europe that will provide hydrogen teaching to over 5,000 pupils. The network will give schools and teachers free access to high-quality teaching materials and resources in various European languages. This will enable them to introduce hydrogen technology into their curriculum. This education is vitally important in the fight against climate change and the development of green energy.
