'Discovering Lisel Haas', an exhibition explorating the life, work, and legacy of a Birmingham photographer, is on display at the Library of Birmingham from 27 July till 12 December.
This exhibition draws out highlights from the archive in order to tell Lisel and Grete’s story. Contemporary artists have also been invited to respond to the archive and to Lisel and Grete’s story; their responses are on display throughout the exhibition.
A book, 'Discovering Lisel Haas', edited by Iris Bertz and Jen Wilbur. Featuring essays, poems, and conversations exploring the life and legacy of Lisel Haas and her partner Grete Bermbach, alongside photographs and documents from the Haas archive.
